# Maker channel

> The maker subscription: every open RFQ to quote, the acceptances to confirm, and your maker operations, positions and capital.

Needs a key for this `maker_id`. Connecting and resuming are on
[Connection](/hyperliquid/websocket/connection).

| Field | Required | Meaning |
| - | - | - |
| `type` | Yes | `maker`. |
| `maker_id` | Yes | Your key's maker. Another maker's ID closes with `SUBSCRIPTION_DENIED`. |
| `cursor` | No | Your last applied cursor. Needs `replay:read`. |
| `account_reads` | No | `true` for `readInvalidated` frames. |
| `publication_freshness` | No | `true` for a 1 second heartbeat and `publication` checkpoints. |

A key receives only the frames its scopes allow:

An RFQ stops taking quotes at `expires_at`, which sends no event.
