Overview - Totalis

Totalis lets you trade Hyperliquid HIP-4 prediction markets, one outcome (a single) or several (a parlay), at a price market makers quote. You accept a quote with a wallet signature, and the position settles on-chain in the Totalis vault on HyperEVM. This API is separate from the Solana API and has its own keys.

How an RFQ works

1	Create RFQ: legs and a stake.	Receives `RFQ_CREATED`.
2	Receives `QUOTE_CREATED`.	Create quote: the payout.
3	Accept quote with a signature.	Receives `QUOTE_ACCEPTED`.
4	The accept response carries the maker’s answer.	Confirm quote with a signature, or decline.
5	Holds the position.	Backs it from the maker vault.

Totalis executes, settles and claims every position. There is no deposit step and no claim step. Guides: Trading and Market making.

Send Authorization: Bearer <key> (Authentication). Market reads need no key. Amounts are strings in USDC atomic units: "25000000" is 25 USDC.

Glossary

Term	Meaning
Market	One HIP-4 outcome (`outcome_id`) with a `YES` and a `NO` side.
Leg	One outcome and one side: `{ "outcome_id": "1209", "side": "YES" }`. One leg is a single; two or more is a parlay.
Taker	The account that creates an RFQ and accepts a quote. For a cash-out, the position’s owner.
Maker	A market maker (`maker_id`) that quotes, confirms and backs positions from its maker vault.
RFQ	Request for quote. `ENTRY` prices new legs for a stake; `CASHOUT` prices an existing position.
Quote	A maker’s unsigned offer on one RFQ: `entry` terms (a `payout`), or `sell_back` or `transfer` terms (a `price`).
Acceptance	The record of one accept on one quote, named by the accept’s `Idempotency-Key` (`acceptance_id`). A quote has at most one.
Confirm	The maker’s answer to an acceptance before its `deadline`: `CONFIRM` with a signature, or `DECLINE`.
Position	A filled trade on-chain: legs, stake, payout, owner and backing maker. An entry position’s `position_id` is its `quote_id`.
Stake, payout	What the taker pays, before the entry fee; what the position pays if every leg wins, before the profit fee.
Cash-out	Selling an open position: a `sell_back` to its maker, or a `transfer` to another maker.
Settlement, claim	Grading a resolved position, then paying its winnings into the owner’s vault balance. Totalis runs both.
Operation	One on-chain action Totalis relays for you, with a `status` (`operation_id`, `OPERATION_UPDATED`).
Vault	The Totalis contract on HyperEVM that holds USDC and every position (`vault_address`).
Totalis balance	Your wallet’s USDC on HyperEVM plus your free vault balance.
Wallet	Your Totalis embedded wallet. It approves your keys and signs your trades.
Deployment	The chain, vault, fees and USDC domain every signature binds to (Get deployment).
Cursor	Your place in the WebSocket. Send it back to resume.
